Course ContentThe course demonstrates the value of human capital. It shows how OSH links to the broader sustainability agenda and identifies how this can help to build and maintain a more sustainable business.
The learner will be able to:
- Describe meaning of sustainability, human capital and the three inter-dependencies.
- Understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and how OSH relates to them.
- Describe the meaning of a culture.
- Understand the core OSH principles.
- Understand the importance of tracking performance to social sustainability.
- Understand the importance of good management to social sustainability.
Examination (30 minute, multi-format assessment) and an action plan.
