Course Overview
This course aims to provide managers and supervisors with a thorough understanding of the different aspects of health and safety in the workplace, covering the importance of planning, risk profiling and organisational implementation of health and safety in occupational settings. This will also include learning about the monitoring, measurement and investigation processes required to comply with legislation. The CIEH Intermediate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety will benefit anyone working in a supervisory position under an occupational health and safety management role in any work context. With a focus on the role of supervision, learners will develop the essential knowledge and understanding to enable them to discharge health and safety responsibilities. Upon completion of this course delegates will understand their roles and responsibilities for the health and safety of others, as well as be able to effective shape management processes and procedures designed to ensure the safety of your employees. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute and includes an examination following the training.
